Slimefun - Composter


Crazy Turtle	So... I got really excited seeing this one item in Slimefun. The Composter. Especially since I have played a lot of Skyfactory, the modpack done by Bacon_Donut and there you got a Barrel in which you can compost leaves, saplings, apples etc to get dirt for your skyblock/skyfactory. And once I realised that something similar existed here too, well lets skip the juicy details shall we? So in my skyblock, I crafted the composter and I place it down and I try to add saplings to it. It doesn't work. And the Slimefun Wiki for it... well it doesn't really give you much information more than the fact that it's really handy in skyblock. How do I get it to work?! Someone? Crazy Turtle	I know what it does. But I can't get it to work. I tried to add saplings to it, but it won't let me. I tried having it in the enchanted crafting table, still doesn't work. I've placed it down next to the enchanted crafting table... nothing, njet, nada! :/ Posted May 26, 16 · OP
Solidus Posts: 5 Votes: +3 LEVEL 0 Original: Member	In order to add saplings to the Composter (which is a single block that you craft and place down somewhere), you have to put a dirt block down in front of it (at ground level), then step back and right-click the Composter (not the dirt block) with the saplings (while holding 8 or more at once). What will happen is that a sapling will appear on the ground and 8 saplings will disappear from your inventory and the Composter will start chewing 'em up. It'll spit out a dirt block afterwards, and then you can pick up the sapling in front of you. So essentially, it only costs 7 saplings, since you get one back.
